| Description: | The Casterbridge Band plays mainly English music on a variety of acoustic instruments but always with a driving rhythm from fiddle or keyboard. The normal line-up is Colin Thompson and Will Ferris, the musical strength of these two musicians being more than adequate. However, it can be enhanced by the addition of their regular caller, Ruth, who will join the band on fiddle/cello, if required, with a different caller. We play mainly around Dorchester, but are always willing to discuss travelling further.
