Tutors Andrew Swaine, Anne Daye, John Dipper.

John Playford's books of country dances dating from 1651 form the basis of our present day repertoire. Explore them in more detail with a series of workshops led by well-known experts. Then put your knowledge into practice at the evening social dance.

Anne Daye is an inspiring teacher of historical dance and will teach skills of stepping and figuring as well as putting the dances in their historical context.

Andrew Swaine is a talented caller and musician. He has carried out thorough research and is dedicated to rediscovering what makes the dances fun.
